This page describes how to use our Confluence Blueprint to get you quickly started in pulling JIRA Issue data using the Jira-Confluence Issue Macros.

Prerequisites

  • The Jira-Confluence Issue Macro Plugin is installed in Confluence with a valid license.
  • Confluence is linked to at least one JIRA Server.

Using the Jira-Confluence Issue(s) Report Blueprint

The Jira-Confluence Issue(s) Report Blueprint generates a page containing a simple report of one or more JIRA issues using the Jira-Confluence Issue Macro and Jira-Confluence Issue Field Macro.

The Blueprint template can be found in the Create dialogue box when creating a new page.

When you select the Jira Issues Report and click Next, you will be presented with a dialogue box that allows you to select the Application Link and enter a Query.

The Issue Query can be an Issue KeyFilter ID, or JQL Query.

When you click Create, a new page will be created and auto-populated with a default template that uses the Jira-Confluence Issue Macros to generate a simple report that can be modified if necessary to get additional system fields and custom fields.

The default generated template displays a few system fields from an issue(key, summary, status, description, etc). It also lists any linked issues and subtasks linked to it.
